About Us

We welcome you as a patient, and appreciate the opportunity to provide you with medical services.  The information that follows is designed to answer many of the questions most patients have.  The more you know, the more we can be of service.  If there are any questions, however, please ask, since we do want to be of help.

Everyone in this practice operates as a team member.  All have been trained as professionals and we take pride in our professional capability.

Family practice is one of medicine’s newest specialties.  Like obstetrics and gynecology or pediatrics, or any of the other branches of medicine, it has its own unique body of knowledge and training.  Family practice was approved as a specialty in 1969, but the concept is as old as medicine.  We study in broad areas of medicine (pediatrics, surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry and community medicine) to learn how to give each patient continuing and comprehensive health care (regardless of age or sex) in the environment of their family and community.  Equally important, this training teaches us to practice “preventive” medicine.  In other words, we learn not only how to get you well, but how to keep you healthy.
